Marco Boni leads the Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra on this programme dedicated to Mozart, Mendelssohn and Schubert's violin works. Violinist Vesko Eschkenazy, the first leader of the Royal Concertgebouw, is the featured soloist on this album which has been praised for both its sound quality and the performances.
