- Audiophile Audition
On his debut solo release, organist Tom Winpenny presents a unique recital programme of Stanford organ works featuring four world premieres. This first volume in a series dedicated to Stanford contains a mix of both well known and less familiar organ works, including the Fantasia and Toccata through to the early Prelude and Fugue and the pastoral idyll By the Seashore. Winpenny performs these works on the unspoilt Binns organ of 1892 at Queens' College, University of Cambridge.
