Los Angeles-based string ensemble the Calder Quartet devotes this album to British composer Thomas Adès, including the world premiere recording of The Four Quarters and his first-ever work for string quartet, Arcadiana. The programme also includes the single-movement, three-part Piano Quintet with the composer himself at the piano.
