Dylan at the Opera is a concept album composed of original Bob Dylan songs rearranged in various rock styles with operatic vocals by Israeli band Diva de Lai. The ensemble's founder and drummer, Yuval Nachtom, created the concept and vision for the unique sound and produced the album together with guitarist and arranger Eyal Sucher.
"No compromise was made with the quality of the instruments: when we needed a piano, we went and looked for the a studio with the best grand; when we needed a Rhodes, we brought in a Rhodes. This is all the same for the acoustic instruments as well as the double bass, trumpets and even a real full scale harp that was used on two of the tracks!"
