Grief's Infernal Flower from American doom metal band Windhand is simultaneously massive, heavy and personal. Lead singer Dorthia Cottrell re-establishes herself as one of the best vocalists of the genre with her enormous vocal power and presence. Produced in Seattle by Jack Endino (Nirvana, Soundgarden), the album weaves together nine songs chock full of perfect guitar riffs and fuzzed out bliss with a colossal rhythm section.
