Released in 1988, Amnesia is the second album Richard Thompson recorded in Los Angeles with producer and keyboardist Mitchell Froom. Backing Thompson's characteristic vocals and stunning fretwork are some of the finest musicians in the industry, including bassists Tony Levin and Jerry Scheff and drummers Mickey Curry and Jim Keltner.
