Czech mezzo-soprano Magdalena Kožená, considered one of the foremost singers of her generation, teams up with renowned period instrument orchestra La Cetra led by Andrea Marcon on this programme devoted to the early Italian Baroque music of Monteverdi. Kožená is joined by soprano Anna Prohaska for a pair of duets and several other acclaimed guest performers are featured.
