Violinist John Mills and cellist Bozidar Vukotic come together on this programme of technically challenging duos by Franz Anton Hoffmeister, a composer and publisher active in Vienna who was closely associated with Mozart and included works by Beethoven amongst his editions. Mills and Vukotic then turn their attention to Beethoven himself and conclude the recital with three inventive duos for clarinet and bassoon, arranged for violin and cello by Friedrich Hermann.
