Turbulence is a new progressive rock/metal band from Lebanon founded in 2013 by two extremely gifted composers, guitarist Alain Ibrahim and keyboardist Mood Yassin. Omar El Hage (vocals), Sayed Gereige (drums) and Anthony Atwe (bass) round out the band's line-up. Coming from a region not exactly famous for prog music, Turbulence has emerged and is ready to compete on a world stage. The band is preparing to unleash their sophomore album, Frontal, a concept album which showcases Turbulence's ability to combine compelling musical storytelling with modern sounds and production.
"Early in our musical careers, finding a label to call home seemed almost impossible, let alone it being a huge worldwide label. For that and a couple other reasons, we are very pleased and proud to announce that we have signed with Frontiers. We grew up listening to a lot of the bands on their roster, which makes this all the more exciting. We're certain that this is the start of a very prolific musical relationship, and that Frontiers will do an amazing job to help us bring our prog to the world."
