Above and Beyond features the virtuosic and internationally-acclaimed United States Marine Band, recorded live, performing an excitingly varied programme of key pieces in the repertoire including works by Percy Grainger, Paul Creston and Aaron Copland. The award-winning conductor of the Seattle Symphony, Gerard Schwarz, contributes his own composition, the title piece Above and Beyond, written specifically for the band in recognition of its remarkable musicianship.
