"For the album ... Cuomo & Co. traded loud guitars for flowery string arrangements. The approach is a not-so-subtle nod at chamber-pop benchmarks like Pet Sounds and Let It Be but without the confessional diary entries of the former or the sentimentality of the latter. Instead, Cuomo tempers his natural sense of humor to the mood of the music and the world in front of him."
- Rolling Stone
"Rather than set these tales to Weezer’s trademark shiny guitar riffs, Cuomo ... enlisted a 38-piece orchestra, which essentially fills the musical role usually played by rhythm guitars. Thankfully, this is not the square peg/round hole disaster it could have been. Instead, OK Human is another solid Weezer album that just so happens to have, um, bassoons, trumpets and violas on every song."
- Variety
American rock band Weezer release their 14th studio album with OK Human. The offering, which takes its name as a play on the 1997 Radiohead album OK Computer, was finished during quarantine by frontman Rivers Cuomo. He notes that the album is "piano-based" and "very eccentric". This album comes after the temporary shelving of Weezer's 80s glam-rock homage, Van Weezer.
