Following a string of well-received singles and EPs, alternative rock group X Ambassadors from Ithaca, New York delivered its debut album VHS in June 2015, a stomping, syncopated exploration through the past, as the obsolete technology in the album’s title indicates. A rousing success, it debuted at number seven and was certified gold in the US. One year later comes this reissue, VHS 2.0, containing five unreleased songs including a live version of Gorgeous. The band is joined on various tracks by label mates Imagine Dragons and Jamie N Commons as well as guitarist Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine, Bruce Springsteen).
