This debut album from Australian experimental electronic artist Gravy Murphy (Jon Murphy) comes on the heels of two well-received EPs in 2013 and 2015. The World Is Your Moisture has a retro vibe running through it, with hisses that could have come from an early Kraftwerk record and the warming hum of antique synths throughout. A steady beat keeps everything grounded and the industrial feel is dampened by the more welcoming additions of various melodic touches.
