On her debut North American release, British jazz vocalist Polly Gibbons explores five stages of love: Looking for Love, Finding Love, Losing Love, Looking to Reconnect and finally the Lessons of Love. To represent each of these phases, Gibbons selected cover songs from artists including Al Jarreau, Patti Austin, Dr. John and Rickie Lee Jones. She then assembled a crew of some of the most talented musicians in contemporary jazz, led by Los Angeles pianist and arranger Tamir Hendelman and featuring Diana Krall guitarist Anthony Wilson, violinist Christian Howes and the rhythm section of the Tierney Sutton Band, bassist Kevin Axt and drummer Ray Brinker.
