Pete Townshend shares credit on the cover of Rough Mix with Faces member Ronnie Lane, but the album was recorded with a long list of other guests, from Eric Clapton to Charlie Watts to Townshend's Who-mate John Entwistle on horns, not bass. Townshend's father-in-law, movie composer Edwin Astley, arranged the orchestra on Street In The City.
