Genre-defying, Nashville-based quintet Rainbow Kitten Surprise have released their first official live album, RKS! Live From Athens Georgia. The 25-song collection was recorded during a two-night stand at The Georgia Theatre in Athens, GA, on the band’s 2019 sold out North American tour.
Not more than two years ago, Rainbow Kitten Surprise launched the biggest headline tour of their career thus far in support of their Elektra Records debut, How To: Friend, Love, Freefall. On October 1, 2019, they rolled through Athens and lit up The 40 Watt Club before gracing the stage of The Georgia Theatre two nights in a row October 3 and October 4. The live album harnesses all the magic of a Rainbow Kitten Surprise show as they electrify a sold-out audience with signature anthems and fan favorites.
